Do you have 2 partitions on md0? It can be relevant, depend on how md0
looks like :-/

How?
I just tried installation with disk layout as shown on attached image. But I
used md0 for root fs, md1 for LVM with LV for swap.
Grub installation is passed without any problems and system is working just
fine.

Yes, just checked - it is possible to create RAID1 with missed drive
using Debian Installer.
Example of installation process you can find here:
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/SoftwareRaidRoot
But at screen "Let's select the partitions to use:" you have to choose
only one partition.

Yes, you can. Even if Debian Installer can't setup RAID1 with missing
drive you can switch to secondary console and create it manually.

You can create Solaris partition using 'fdisk'. Partition type is 'bf' I
believe. Or you can create any partition using gparted and change
partition type using fdisk. Not sure if it's possible to change type of
partition in gparted.

Well, grub-imageboot just a script which generates additional meny
entries for your GRUB config.
For each ISO/IMG file grub-imageboot creates menu entry in GRUB config:

As I know, Debian live USB is using empty password by default. But you
can change root password this way:
sudo passwd
or you can set default root password while building ISO for Debian live.

Try to put
[gammu]
port = BLUETOOTH ADDRESS OF PHONE
connection = blueobex
model = E71
to your ~/.gammurc if you are using bluetooth. But phone and computer
should be paired before.
Or you can try
[gammu]
port = /dev/ttyACM0
connection = at115200
if you are using cable.
