I created a new Debian system last night, downloading 'stable' from
ftp.debian.org. In trying to run XFree86, I get this server error
message:
Fatal server error:
Cannot open mouse (No such file or directory)
I cannot figure this out, becase I was using the same /etc/X11/XF86Config
file

Just installed a Conner CTM3200 SCSI 4GB QIC-Wide tape drive, which
uses the QW-3080XLF tapes to back up 2 GB native. I had been using
a dump command similar to dump 0ufB /dev/nst0 450 on TR-1 floppy
tapes. Has anyone used a similar tape drive (SCSI) with these tapes?

After messing up my XDM and essentially locking myself
out of my system for a while, I have become interested
in setting up my ethernet card from a startup script.
Does one put the ifconfig and route statements in the usual
rc.inet1 and reference it somehow from rc6.d, or what?
