Hi Jon:
Just a thought, but when you logout from Gnome, it should give you the option
of saving your desktop. When you do that and log back in, it should have saved
all your icons where you left them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just curious if anyone knows what the story is with kde.tdyc.com?
It's been down for a few weeks now, and it's the only place

seems tedious. I know a simple script file could do this.

I try to boot Debian 2.1 either by floppy or CD, with only the
video card as the only PCI device even, it halts after displaying all
the boot messages up to:
md driver 0.36.3 max_md_dev=4, max_real=8
then it hangs. please help, I really need to run Debian.
