hello, have a sun workstation and decided to install debian etch on it,
everything goes fine, i installed 2 different kernels
linux-kernel-2.6.15-1-k7-smp and linux-kernel-2.6.15-1-686-smp, when any of
that kernel boots it hangs up several seconds during scsi probe, kernel finds
scsi host 0 con
at your home directory edit .bashrc

hello, i compiled firefox from source and made a .deb file via alien. while
installing the deb file i hit cancel, somehow i cannot remove this file,
dpkg , aptitute or apt-get says that my firefox packet should be removed but
no file related to my firefox packet,
how can i completely purge it ?

hello, my previous command was aptitude install libgtk2.0-0 , sorry about
that. here is dpkg --purge result
# dpkg --purge firefox-1.5.en-us.linux
dpkg: error processing firefox-1.5.en-us.linux (--purge)
thank you for help, but /var/lib/dpkg/status file did the trick, i remove the
related lines.
