Currently I am trying to set up a Debian Lenny Server, but I am stuck at
mail delivery. The server I am trying to set up, has no FQDN, so I used
my ISP-Mailserver as a smarthost (I enabled the proper SMTP
authentication in exim4).

I just logged onto the Debian machine (per ssh) and tried it again.
Unfortunately it failed again. As before it gave the 451 Local Error.

Recently I installed cron-apt in order to perform automatic updates and
in order to get the Summary per E-mail.
Now I am wondering whether the /etc/cron.daily/apt script becomes
obsolete, by installing cron-apt. Can I simply remove
the /etc/cron.daily/apt script? Or ist it somehow esse

Today I ran into some strange problem. While reinstalling munin, I got a
segfault, while fontconfig was getting installed. I played around a
little bit, and think I located the root of the problem at defoma. For
example if I run:
apt-get install fontconfig
I get:
I solved the problemm by noticing that the scripts
in /var/lib/defoma/scripts were all empty. Strang as it is, these
scripts don't get regenerated on reinstalling. I copied them from an old
backup.
