I have some add-ons installed ( adblock plus, autoproxy, downloadhelper,
downthemall, vimperator, greasemonkey, etc), and I did not encounter
any compatibility issue.

g.conf file to
/etc/fonts/conf.d/09-texlive.conf.
But I can't find texlive-fontconfig.conf in /var/lib/texmf/fonts.
