It means that you don't have a version of DOS installed and configured
correctly. You can get DOS from http://www.freedos.org
As for configuring it, I'm not at the compu

I had this same problem. To upgrade, I had to install libpng2.

I prefer gmc, but alas, no ftp support.
apt-get install gmc

I'm having trouble compiling kernel 2.4.20 on my woody system. I'm
using gcc version 2.95.4
I issue the command . . .
su -c "make-kpkg kernel_image"
After compiling some files it always ends up with an error like . . .
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 4

Nope. As far as I know the processor is running at the rated speed that
it was sold to me as.

I tried memtest from the memtest86 and after 8 tests (which took about 5

No need to compile unless you really want to.
I have that same network card running on my laptop with Debian 3.0
installed.
You need to install the pcmcia-cs package.
Then you need to play with the options in /etc/pcmcia/network.opts
The actual driver is pcnet_cs, but I don't think you'll need

Yep, not in stable either. According the packages.de

Which small number of things is that? We got libc from 1 post. What
else?

$ apt-get install vim-gtk
That should do the trick.

I know this is late, but a much simpler fix would have been to create a
.gvimrc and put this line in it.
colorscheme elflord

Yes, I've seen it before. It happens whenever I select a bookmark. I
starts to work again if I minimize and restore the window. Since I'm
using Gnome and Sawfish, I don't think it has anything to do with the
window manager.

downloaded quicken files.

Why would it be? Can't you just set that to just happen during mail
handling by doing something like this in you .vimrc?
autocmd BufRea

That command will give you the packages in debian that have something to
do with vim. I did it on my sarge system and didn't see too much when
it comes to mail, web or development modes. You should be able to find
more on . . .

I really like my sony clie TJ25, but I haven't been able to get it to
work with linux. I think the problem is that it doesn't have to have a
cradle to connect.
