Hello I have a SiS 671 video card and have downloaded a source driver to see
if I can make it work ... I have installed a bunch of dependencies but the
'make config' command fails complaining abou a missing xf86Resources.h file
The below output of the make attempt:
$./configure
checking for a BSD

Tried this also:

/usr/include/xorg/xf86Rename.h

So I don't have it installed , anyone knows how to proceed? Why isn't it
installed via x11-dev packages?

Ok the bigger problem you should have is "what is a base system"
You could run in another box a installation and get a list of the basic
system packages, but what do you want the box for? give us a user case and
we would try to sort this mess out for you.

exim4 is a MTA , xmail is also MTA , the system alows only one MTA , so
aptitude resolves this conflict by purging exim4
