Installed Woody 3.0r1, mostly from CD-ROM, on a laptop.
Using kernel image 2.2.20 idepci. PCMCIA support is perfect.
I want to try out some audio stuff, and need module via82cxxx.
However, this isn't available for 2.2.20-idepci (
About a month ago I upgraded a server from Potato to Woody - all OK.
Recently, on the same server, I added 'unstable' entries
to /etc/apt/souces.list, which now reads:

What is the "official" way to set up extra IP addresses on a single
PCMICA card?
I can obviously add a line like:
ifconfig eth0:1 10.2.3.4 netmask 255.0.0.0 up
to /etc/pcmcia/network.opts but:
(a) it would be invoked even in the case of a "network stop"
(b) doesn't remove the interface whe
