LILO Problem

I recently decided to install LILO on my laptop. According to the HOW-TO and liloconfig I should be able to hold shift while booting and get the following prompt: F1234: but mine has an extra step... when I hold shift while booting I get this prompt: AF1: If I press A (not lowercase, lowercase

LILO Problem OOPS

BO Lockup problems

I am running Bo on a Dell Laptop. I am using Kernel 2.0.33, I get random lockups with no warning, rhyme, or reason. I don't know what it could be exactly. I think it is related to APM, because it is usually after I take my computer out of suspend. I will unsuspend it, type maybe 5 or 6 letters

CHROOT Question

Apache AddHandler Question

I have a problem with Apache Web Server. When i use a cgi script with the extension .cgi it works fine, but if I try to use it with the extension .pl it says Method Not Implemented. Now I have added the AddHandler directive for the .pl extension and it still does not work. Can someone help me?

Netscape problems....

SWAP or swap

I have been running my linux with approx. 100 MB swap partition, all how to's and books say no swap partition bigger than 16 MB.   What's the story, does linux REALLY not use any more that 16MB swap?

Kernel problems -- unresolved symbols.

Problem with Post Method Not Implememnted

Segmentation Fault

I have a 3.2 GB Seagate master with a WD 2.5 slave. I have Windows 95 on the Seagate and am trying to setup Debian on the WD slave. As I go through the setup utilitity, I get to initialize and mount my swap partition, but when I try to initialize the LINUX partition I get the following message.
