my debian system. hdb1 is a dos partition. hdb2 is my swap
partition. hdb3 is a spare ext2 partition I use for storing bits and

When I try to run startx, it dies complaining that:

Cannot open mouse (Device or resource busy)
I then kill gpm and startx works fine. How can I get both to work
together? I could do this under slackware.
