doesn't use IPV6 by default? I had to completely disable IPV6
to get anywhere with Debian (same with Ubuntu). There's something funky
about the way (at least some) Debian-based distros handle IPV6.

I'm using gtkpod also; meanwhile, anxiously awaiting Floola to make its

with the nano still mounted. Have you considered using anot

and there has always been a lot of discussion about the conf file. When
did this happen?
And funnily enough, this is the first time any Linux install has
configured the correct optimal resolution & refresh rate for this
machine & monitor from the get-go. Previously I have had alwa
w years old
and who don't want to be stuck in early 2006 for the next year while
Debian drags itself kicking and screaming through yet another protracted
and endlessly delayed release cycle.

number of options that are easily installable. Personally, I dislike
distros that are KDE- or Gnome-centric, but many are.
Did you install XFCE 4.4 from source? Because it's not available in
Etch repositories, and won't ever be since Etch is frozen. Same goes
t added them to the Nautilus sidebar and to the Places
menu on the Gnome panel. Since all I need is quick access to these
particular partitions, that works fine for me.
