the vesa driver was one thing i forgot so i'll look into that was well.
this was my first ATI card and it's worked quite well for the 6 months
since i bought it. this last week has been the first major issue i've

when i click on shutdown on my sid system it starts to shutdown and
then GDM will restart with the logon screen so i have to shutdown

Is slink archived anywhere? A year ago I installed slink on
my venerable 486/8MB system and it worked like a charm.
Now, slink is apparently gone from the net, so if I just

I've been installing a Debian 3.1r1 system, burning CDs
as necessary. So far I've only used CD 1 and 2 from the set.
I'm fairly new to Debian 3.1, and I've some questions,
and general feedback about the installation process.
