ie /home/username/test. I mount to a folder named '1-Linux' so that it

Hi Lori, you already had a bootable system and did not need the boot
flag. What happens when you boot without the flash drive, just do a
normal boot starting with the system off.? What you should see is a
grub menu offering you the option to boot into Debian or Windows and it
should timeout and boot into Debian.

Package > Force Version, you can only force one package at a time but,
yes you can downgrade. I can down grade a couple hundred packages

you would with any other package manager and if your not sure use
'gtkorphan' so you can see what you're doing.
So you could #apt purge 'package name' && upgrade-system
