m config file to not use the -R flag. It is either the init
script /etc/init.d/gpm or in it's config file /etc/gpm.conf. Also make sure
you have you XF86Config file using the real device (/dev/psaux for PS/2
mouse). You could also tell XF86Config to use /dev/gpmdata, but this is
not guaranteed
you know which device to use either stick that in the XF86Config file
or make a symbolic link by doing ln -s /dev/ttySX or /dev/psaux /dev/mouse.

otherwise just do 'apt-get install acroread' to install it. With potato they

can try and use an old ppp module with a newer kernel, but I could never get

Hello all. I have a question regarding installing debian on my laptop. I have
a zip100 minidrive that I use
Isn't there a kernel patch for mounting an ext2 file system with the uid and
guid options? I'd like to be able to mount and write to ext2 floppies as a
normal user (i.e., not root).
