unstable at this time, at least it doesn't work! You may have to do
another apt-get install for other kde programs, but the one for
konqueror will probably do the job.
I might add, kde 3.1 is well worth it. Very nice indeed.

In my experience, it isn't unusual to have the results go from 6 to 40
with dma turned on. And that will look like night and day.

and my transfer rates went from 2.44 to 19.69 and my problems were over.

the same thing has happened to you. Just make sure
you have an initrd.img on your system and that lilo points to it.
