Hello all,
I am a newbie to Debian and I made a booboo.. While prepping a system
for production use, I accidentally overwrote /usr/include/unix.h with the
unix.h that comes from the imap2002e library (used by PHP to enable it to
use POP and IMAP protocols)...

Man... Hmmm. If there's not then I really hosed up php somehow. Lol... I'll
give it another whirl to see what happens.

That is called "trolling." Please don't.
But it more appropriately should have been called a "badly worded question
from a previous staunch supporter of Red Hat before they became what they
are today".
Trolling, AFAIK is a comment used specifically to instigate an altercation
of some type. Th
Once again, I do apologize for the wrongly worded question... I can see now
in retrospect how it could be an annoying question...

Hello all,
I'm trying to figure out where lpd is being started from on my system.
I've removed the symlinks from all the rcX.d directories, and it still
insists on starting when I boot up... Where else would it be starting up from?
Thanks in advance,
Brad

Everyone,

didn't figure this would be a problem, but am running into something
bizzare...
When I install kdebase-dev, it uninstalls libqt3-d
Everyone,
I apologize for the duplicate post. The first time when I clicked send, I
noticed it had the wrong From: address, so I resent it with the proper one
thinking that the first one would get rejected since the other email isn't
subscribed to the list.
Sorry!!

Hello all,
I'm currently working on a project to build up a new mail server. I want to
use Exim as the MTA, but I would like to compile it from source instead of
using the exim-whatever packages that have been installed by default.
What I would like to know is what is the best way to remo
