Hello all, I've been told by my Nvidia drivers that my dynamic loader is old and is therefore causing a X-server crash anoyance. I'm running Debian 2.2 with a 2.4.16 kernel, can I just download the LD source and compile? what versions would be compatible with debian? Thanks! B. Bogart ---

Hey David, I compiled 2.4.16 on my debian machine a few weeks ago. The documentation that comes with the sources is very good and explains all the steps. Keep in mind that for the 2.4.17 kernel to work you need to upgrade a lot of tools (modutils, bin-utils etc) all this is listed in the insta
