I installed Debian slink in a second hard drive, which is hdb1 (there
are hda1 to hda4), my system does not allow booting from a slave hard
drive, so I use the floppy system, but it is very slow. What can I do to

I upgraded my XFree to 3.35 from slink without having installed the
slink one ( I had had to make a reinstallation because of a mistake
while root). Any way, when I started startx after runnig the xf86config,
it couldn't satrt any server, complained about fonts not found, asked to

You will probably have to do apt-get install after that. Just bare, it happened
to me
yesterday, and I did apt-get install by pure chance. It worked then. It
shouldn't
happen, I agree, lets hope it will be fixed. Please report if this works back

I have not seen anywhere documentation on settings other than r,w,x. Can
you tell where I can find their meaning? Would be great if in the little

What line should I add to my sources.list in order to be able to find
and intelligently download and install all sources and dependencies for
kernel 2.2.13? I've done it through the search tool in the web site, but
I suspect that I have already some of the recommended dependencies. I am
running sli
Does any body know of any support for Aztech 3D sound card? I haven't
been able to hear any sound in my Linux-slink box yet. Except for beeps.
