Hi there,
I have a problem with emacs and accents. Emacs works perfectly with
accents in a text console, and in graphics mode. However, in a
windowed console (emacs -nw), the accents does not work. Moreover,
executing emacs in a remote host (with ssh), in a windows console,
does not work too, but
I don't know what distro you upgrade, but until sarge, you could use
"dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" to solve this kind of problems.

Hi there,
We will soon have, 5 or 6 Debian boxs (servers and desktops), in our
LAN. We would like to know, if it is better to use apt-cacher o approx
for the updates.
I couldn't find enough documentation of any of them, to see some
features, before installing one.
Thanks very much,

I use nvidia drivers (legacy), with an old Nvidia Tnt 2.
When etch was testing, sometimes when legacy nvidia drivers were taken
out of testing, I had to use nv driver, and I didn't have any problem
at all, except for some screen savers, and some games.

Sorry to all.
I think that I had installed a newer version of KDE than the sarge
one, to install the newest version of Rosegarden4.
By the way, is there any problem on having testing version of KDE, and
the rest of the system in stable?
Thanks very much,

Hi all,
I am interested in use ssh with x.509 certificates. I have seen that I
could download a x.509 patch for openssh source
(http://roumenpetrov.info/openssh/download.html). But, could I apply

debian package and compile a
