emacs and accents

ssh and x509

Hi all, I am interested in use ssh with x.509 certificates. I have seen that I could download a x.509 patch for openssh source (http://roumenpetrov.info/openssh/download.html). But, could I apply this patch over debian sources?, or do I have to uninstall the openssh debian package and compile a
