Thank you Piotr for your response.
As I responded to Andrei lower in the thread, neither DM nor DE must have
been installed.
I would like to get GNOME, so I will try to install it. Does this affect
the DM somehow?

Hello Friends
My system is
Desktop: LXDE 0.10.1
Distro: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
I've installed SpaceFM and I'm unable to adjust the width of the Name
column.
Anyone here familiar with SpaceFM customizations?
Thank you for your time.

Greetings,
This has been an annoyance/issue for a while - at least for me - and I'm
wondering if anyone else has seen this?
The problem: after an apt-get update/upgrade, the Default Applications for

my brand new computer (amd64, Bullseye) can be suspended to ACPI Mode S3 by

But whenever the USB mouse is moved (even a jiggle is enough) or the USB
keyboard a key is hit, the computer wakes up from S3.
In Windows this behaviour can be disabled per device i

displayed.
Is there a problem with GNOME?
Thank you all.

Someone off-list suggested vivaldi which looks closer to what I want a
browser to be - many/most things being configurable (and much closer to
what firefox used to be) so I'm probably going to stop using brave.
However, I've replied inline below to the questions.
