before upgrading to jessie 8.7, I had no problem eith xsane.
Now, it works correctly with gray and color modes, but with lineart,
it just scans the 2 or 3 first cm instead of the whole selected rectangle.
That looks like a bug, but I would like to get your opinion before
doing a bug report.

I am running debian sid and currently all video players the video freezes when
I try to play a video. Also the KDE desktop will freeze until I change to one
of the virtual terminals with CTRL-ALT-F? and then back to KDE desktop with
ALT-F7. It will then work for a bit then freeze again.

Well I sure haven't changed anything other than upgrade packages. Now
if some other package interferes with cupsd I don't know. I know I
spent some days fighting :631 4-5 months ago to get it (the printer) to
work. Cups worked fine then. I have not tried any other printer since.

(monitor would not wake from sleep).
