I set up on jessie my own dns server with tinydns.
Whow to set up /etc/networking/interfaces and
resolv.conf
to ask the system for my zones himself first?

in /etc/network interfaces you can set dns-nameservers 127.0.0.1 and in
resolv.conf nameserver 127.0.0.1
I don't know tyndns. I would say it must (?) be configured recursive.

I've just crossgraded my desktop computer from i386 to amd64, using the wiki
recipe and got everything working so far.
The only problem:
On the lower right corner I have to white/red "do not enter road sign icons"
where "Notifications", "System Tray" and the icons of minimized music players

lan1 192.168.1.0/24 <---> vpn 10.10.10.0/24 <---> lan2 192.168.1.0/24
on lan1 I've a network printer: 192.168.1.200
How can I print via lan2?

That's the problem: the printer has only 192.168.1.0/24 address, I can't
configure it with vpn :-/

The only one. So it must be recursive if you need to resolve external
domains too. If it is not recursive and you need to resolve external
domains, then you should not list it in resolv.conf. Instead you should

You do not.
Locales are a bad API, do not use it except for the most basic tasks, and
this is not a basic case.
