Hi folks,
I am working for several weeks on a new wiki containing lot lof
interesting and _working_ howtos. You can find it at http://debian.asconix.com.
The howtos explain step-by-step the setup of server or desktop
installations.
The first howtos I published cover topics like Lighttpd (+PHP/MyS

No, popularity has very little to do with it. Windows is compromised a lot
because it is trivial to do so. Linux could have twice the market share as
Windows, and it would still be less prone to invasion, simply because it is
more difficult to do so.

Hi,
I'm currently trying to install Debian (4.0) onto a 2.5" Seagate 60GB hard
drive in a usb caddy (which is detected as a SCSI drive).
Debian installs fine but then I get back an "Error 18" (which I've looked up,
is due to a larger hard drive than the motherboards bios recognises).

Came back tonight and of course I've got 200 or so packages to update after
Saturday's release of Lenny.
The update errors out, however, and tells me to run aptitude install -f to
correct the problem, but that results in:

For the "ati" module, you need the package:

Hi,
Running uptodate Sid. I used to be able to hotplug my USB keyboard

Is this still possible with the released version of Lenny? Or do I need
