it came to installing the kernel. I've looked in
/boot/boot/grub/menu.lst and the new kernel 2.6.18-4 hasn't been added
(I'm running 2.6.18-3 and that is the top kernel in the list).

I need to install Etch on my server. The server have only 3w9650SE raid
and can't use the 3w9xxx driver that is on the install CDROM. I wonder
if someone have compiled it for Etch?
