I tried to replace the following missing files,
/etc/hotplug/usb/libgphoto2
/etc/hotplug/blacklist.d/libsane
using the following (correct) commands:
apt-get --reinstall install libsane
apt-get --reinstall install libgphoto2-2
The commands ran without evident error, but neither missing

Hi,
I just installed vim-gtk under woody and now when I run vim - it runs
the gui version. How can I set things up so that cim runs the console
version and gvim runs the gui version? Under sid, it seems to work as
expected, and I can't figure out how to change this behaviour.
cheers

I'm looking for any help that might lead to getting all the little
bonus keys working on my new keyboard in KDE3. Googling for the
keyboard name and "kde" or "linux" doesn't find anything relevant,
just Windows-oriented reviews and online shopping sites. Obviously,

I'm running ddclient in daemon mode to automatically update the
dyndns.org entry when my IP address changes (my ISP forces a disconnect
every 24 hours...).
Problem is, the ddclient daemon keeps dying off sporadically (once in
a month, on average, but irregularly). It just disappears -- no

Just a thought: you might try K3b and see if it works. Maybe it can
help you find the right options that will work.
Sorry, I have no experience with xset, but I suggest you try using
KDE's power management/screensaver config stuff to see if KDE can turn
off the monitor. If so, you'll know that it's possible and that it's
probably not an X config problem. If not, you'll know you're wasting
your time trying to g
Have you checked the config files to see if they are the same on both
versions? Have you checked the changelogs/news for both versions to
see if anything important changed? Have you checked the README.Debian
file for rsync? NEWS.Debian?
If none of that helps, I would check and/or file a bug.
