Hi.. I was just trying to install mplayer with GUI,
but then it needed GTk, so I asked my friend, and he
said the package was gtk1.2. But when I tried to
apt-get install gtk1.2, these are the messages I got:
~# apt-get install gtk1.2
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
So
I had this problem before too, and /etc/inittav just
confused me, so I used "update-rc.d -f [gxk]dm
remove", it basically remove the [gxk]dm in the
startup..
