Just recently installed 2.1. Standalone box with dialout ppp net connection. Running fetchmail and sendmail. The .fetchmailrc file says 'set daemon 600' but the daemon keeps dying on me so I have to manually do it over and over. I have used fetchmail on my previous system (SuSE) and have not

Hi all, I'm having trouble installing on a Dell Dimension XPS P120c. The problem is that when I try to install the base system it can't mount my cd-rom successfully. When it boots up off of the rescue disk it prints the line: hdc: NEC CD-ROM: 273 ATAPI CDROM DRIVE I'm stumped. Any suggestion

My floppy says this when it boots up: This disk uses Linux 2.2.15 (from kernel-image-2.2.15_2.2.15-2) How do I get the patch? I can't use dselect because I can't use linux. Does the kernel have to have extra drivers linked in statically because it is a rescue disk? How about you just e-mail me
