There is some options there where to looke for the mailboxes..
Just change it to ~/Mail or something.

I have problem with loging ppp. I have potato and ppp 2.3.11 and sysklog
1-3.33. There is a line

and everything is logged into this file, but why I have everything on screen

You certainly can. Enable the 'host-only networking option' of vmware,
which will create an interface called 'vmnet1'. Give this an IP address like

Look for /boot/config-*. That is where the files are kept (even for your
own kernel-package builds).
