No way,
This machine is not loaded and there are no users at this time. I just
rebooted and loaded "linux single" and I get exactly the same, / is full

I'm puzzled here :(

So how can I get the second NIC to work? This is getting urgent now as I

Look in /etc/syslog.conf. The last lines should be:
daemon.*,mail.*;\
news.crit;news.err;news.notice;\
*.=debug;*.=info;\
*.=notice

Does anyone have a URL on how to get a second NIC to work under kernel 2.2.13?
The modules directory only has dummy.o in it. What is it I have missed? The
family are getting aggrieved that what was supposed tp be an upgrade seems to
have removed all net access for the PCs on the private IPs.

I'm afraid I haven't had much success (probably due to the fact that my

I am running slink with kernel 2.0.36. Is there any advantage to upgrading

Or shall i just leave the kernel alone as things are working fine..
