I downloaded Eterm from unstable (after first getting all the
other prerequisites from unstable eg glibc2.2, etc.) and now
this unstable version of Eterm seg faults - surprise, surprise!!

Hi all,
I've seen that bind will become a problem in its future releases,
so, I'm now thinking that the non-US division is really stupid !
Why not syncing non-US and main ?? Only because this
policy forbit it ?
So, let's change it !
I think the last US export restriction laws would arrange that

Wim, nice thought, but if you can hexedit while using a text-to-speech
program, I will be VERY impressed. I bet Jim would LOVE to do it himself. As
for me, I haven't got 2.2.x, nor do I have the sblive, nor do I have the
module.
Sorry Jim.

The I execute kppp, it shows the following message after connect:

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Check you system logs /var/log/messages /var/log/ppp.log and /var/log/syslog
for more information on why

Add the users to the 'dip' group.

I don't think I am following you. My suggestion was just what somebody else
posted to the list a few days ago, you don't even need a hex editor to do that;
vi or whatever should do the trick.
What do you mean by text-to-speech program? That Jim is blind and using
text-to-speech to 'see' what he

Thanks from me too! I've been doing "sudo pon" for a long time, but had
just resigned myself to it...
This mailing list really is the greatest source of information.

Hey all,
I've got X apparantly working on the Viper 770. Now I need a wm and would
like to use E. To double check, my latest probe of the startx is below.
After that I get a message saying it can't find a wm or term emulator.
I've got the econfigedit package installed but don't know where and t
