The kernel is one of the "special" packages in Debian. The package
does not use the normal Debian rules for building. At one time there
was a *HUGE* discussion about converting it to

Because the name was changed to linux-source-2.6.11 to differentiate

I'd like to install a v20z server but the debian-installer kernel doesn't
support my scsi/ethernet chipset : (
so I thought about installing this servers with FAI. and to do a minimalistic
configuration of FAI to just install
