Hi
When updating from Stretch to Buster I know that I need to change
references in the sources.list file
Mine is below

Hi,
looks like the culprit is a /etc/cron.daily/do-agent cron-job which
executes the /opt/digitalocean/do-agent/scripts/update.sh script which
includes following if statement:

apt-get -qq update -o

I did some further debugging a
of "apt policy" and for example, the iceweasel was
again upgradable to 60.7.0esr-1~deb9u1:
$ sudo apt policy iceweasel
iceweasel:
Installed: 52.9.0esr-1~deb9u1
Candidate: 60.7.0esr-1~deb9u1

Thanks, Bob. I think I would go for the /*http.debian.net */after
reading about it from your supplied link. And for the record, */ or **/

The HTML version has it bold and italic. I suspect it's icedove trying

What is up with the */ and /**/ stuff? Is that really in your file?
Or did you put them there for some purpose? The comment syntax for
the sources.list file is the '#' character not C style comments. And

Hi,
I use two repositories for Debian Wheezy for the same purpose. One of
them is "HTTP" and another one is "FTP". My two alternatives
