Hi. Why shouldn't I use kernel-image-2.4.18-1-386 insted of
kernel-image-2.4.18-bf2.4. It provides a better performence to me i586
computer ? kernel-image-2.4.18-bf2.4 works fine on my machine ;)

Nothing is secured. But linux 2.4.18 is safer than 2.4.0 but less than
2.4.18 from Debian.

Hello. I am just new to debian LInux after spending some time on redhat and
mandrake. Debian is cool but I have just one important question.
