Hi there,
How to setup setup on screen keyboard on LXDM? I added /usr/bin/florence
to /etc/lxdm/LoginReady unfortunately, in the /var/log/lxdm.log I get:
(florence:2825): Gtk-WARNING **: 14:21:06.181: cannot open display: :0
Florence version 0.6.3
Any suggestions?

I enabled the on-screen keyboard applet in Cinnamon so as to write some
text with French accents. But then it kept on coming up when I didn't
want it, every time I went into any text field. I removed the applet
from my toolbar - no difference. I found the cinnamon on-screen-

I have been trying out xvkbd and gok. In terms of
customising, gok is better but still requires

I came across highly customisable virtual keyboard
called MountFocus, but it is for Windows only.
Is there something along this line available for
Linux, at least with

won't allow me to create new keys. Is there an

which can hold a single or a string of symbols?

Hi folks,
Thanks for the link to 'xvkbd' package. I looked for it under 'k' and 'v'
and forgot about the 'x'. I had downloaded and tried it out. After starting
it with the command 'xvkdb' from the xterm window, the keyboard appears and

The simplest way would be to display all the
There has to be some, the Linux on handhelds uses on-screen keyboards.
If you can't find a full program, you could goto handhelds.org and get
the source from either familiar or intamate. And then just port it over

Hallo there!
I want to create a _very_ secure environment (in my case: an encrypted disk to
store all my passwords. The creation of a encrypted disk is very easy. But i
miss a secure way to enter the password).
Since key loggers become more and more common passwords typed in via keyboards
