Hi Sidhu,
KDE 3.2 is part of KDE unstable and I use sarge/testing with 'pinning'
to allow
for some unstable packages while keeping most of the system based around
sarge.
# more /etc/apt/preferences

Pin: release o=Debian,a=stable
Pin-Priority: 900

You can try apt-get install kde=3.2.1-whatever
'=' allows you to specify version number.
BTW, I updated to KDE 3.2 with sid sources, does really Sarge have KDE 3.2?

Hi
I'm trying to upgrade from kde 3.1.5 to 3.2 by adding
deb http://www.debian-desktop.org/pub/linux/debian/kde3.2 sarge main
While "apt-cache show kdebase" finds 2 packages with above version
numbers, apt-get install kde/kdebase/kde-core insists that the newset
version is installed.

Not without the exact error message along with the command you tried to
run. Perhaps you are trying to install packages that are not included
in KDE 3.2, which makes ap

Hello,
I used k3b for quite a while but upgraded last night to kde 3.2 (previously
3.1.5) now I can not burn any files and receive a error prompt which I pasted
below.
I used k3b 0.10.3 from official apt-get repositories but tried as well to
install a more recent version of k3b but
Hi,
Why in the v3.2.1 of KDE in Debian, we have lost the "The Matrix" screensaver
we had before ... this version can't be configured and seems to be just a
fixed animation ... ??
Where can I find the original version ??
Thanks and regards,

Hey,
Of course, it's merely a detail of the tiniest kind, but would someone
be able to explain to me why the Debian version of the default KDE 3.2
style Plastik has a very different color from the one I got when using
Konstruct?
I'm not trying to sound gay or something, but the dif
I've recently upgraded to KDE 3.2 (I'm running sid); after applications like
mozilla-firefox have huge menu fonts if I run them from KDE. If I run from
KDE gnome-font-properties, then all the gtk2 apps get the right font size for
the menus.
Anybody got the same problem?

Hey,
This morning when I was getting awake, I added a test user to my system,
to try out Konstruct. I put it to build and was delighted to see it
running smoothly all the way.
However, I can't get the fresh KDE 3.2 installation to start up... I'm
not sure why it won't work. I

Hi all,
Does anyone know when KDE 3.2 is going to hit unstable?
