while we are on the topic... does anyone know how to set a transparent
background for the timer?
For the menu it works as advertised in the lilo.conf man page (no entry
implies transparent);
eg.
bmp-colors=13,,0,1,,0
If I do a similar thing for the timer:
bmp-timer=30p,400p,13,,0

How do I configure a graphical lilo. RH and other distros have this fancy
