Hi all.
In unstable, gnome-control-center hangs when opening the Applications submenu.
Considering that some application information (settings, icon, etc.) may be
causing gnome-control-center to become unresponsive, I noticed it was due to
kwrite being installed. Removing the kwrite package
I found a solution:
Open terminal and type dconf-editor (if you don't have it installed it will
automatically ask you if you want to install it)
when it opens you should go /org/gnome/control-center , open last-panel scroll
down and the custom value should be 'power' now you ne

My gnome-control-center version is 41.0.
I started to test changing some setting in gnome-control-center; however it
suddenly crashed and relaunching (by re-executing gnome-control-center command
in the terminal) shows the following error. It looks like a key is missing. But

Reverting to gdm3/stable (3.14) fixes the issue. So it sounds like a
gmd3 3.18 bug.

listed. Secondary monitors are listed (I have tested this on two

I seem to be having a problem with Sawfish's GNOME capplets: unlike all
other capplets, Sawfish's capplets always require me to press "Try" before
pressing "OK" to actually make the changes have any effect. Otherwise,
they are silently ignored, as if I had pressed "Cancel".
