I was trying to configure fontconfig so that it will read the
local configuation file (/etc/local.conf) where I have a font path to
/usr/local/share/fonts
and all my "local" fonts are at
/usr/local/share/fonts/truetype/microsoft/*.ttf
/usr/local/share/fonts/truetype/arphic/
