I gather the offending debconf package has now been fixed, however, for
the future if you delete the file from /var/cache/apt/archives, come
off-line and use the -m option to apt-get, it will install and configure
the remaining packages. -m effectively means 'ignore any packges not
available'.

Greetings everyone. I'm having a problem trying to install debconf.
I just did a full upgrade to potato this evening. I then tried to
install a new package (everybuddy) that relied on debconf. When
apt-get went to install debconf I got the error:
