Ooh sweet memories S3Trio64+ my very first videocard, PCI, I still have it, I use it on friends computers when their AGP slot is broken or misconfigured. I had no problem running X with it back in the old days :) /nisse On 3/23/06, Dissanayaka, Nuwan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > hi > > Plese

Yes, at least mine can. Sold as a ViewTop BP-S3-Ax. Fitted with sockets for 8 chips but sold locally with only a choice of 2 or 4meg installed. The manual claims max [EMAIL PROTECTED] colors or [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] colors with 4Meg installed. On Fri, Aug 04, 2000 at 08:2

I don't have that box here with me, but I have the same card which runs 1024x768 fine with an IBM G50 monitor. I think you probably want to change the monitor to High Frequency SVGA, but check if your monitor can take that (vertical freq at least 70 Hz). -- Hans At 12:29 PM 8/3/00 +0200, Stefan Be

How much memory do you have on your card? The possible highest resolution depends on your memory. I'm using S3 Trio64V+ with 2 MB memory, with 1024x768 16bpp. If you have 1MB, you still can use this resolution, but with 8 bit color depth only. --Pap Tibor On Thu, 3 Aug 2000, Stefan Bellon wrote:

I have no problems with the S3 Trio64V+ at 1024x768 -16/24bit but it may be because I had 4 meg ram and upgraded to 8meg latterly still using it on a 'passed over' machine. On Thu, Aug 03, 2000 at 12:29:07PM +0200, Stefan Bellon wrote: > Hi everybody! > > Does anybody have a XF86Config fi

Hi everybody! Does anybody have a XF86Config file for the S3 Trio64V+ card? I've managed to get a 800x600 running, but I'd like to increase to 1024x768. Whenever I modify the XF86Config (with XF86Setup) to contain a 1024x768 ModeLine, the server dies when trying to start it. Isn't such a resoluti
