Thanks for the warnings to everyone who replied-and they were
pretty universally warnings. FYI, I decided to steer clear and
go for a small custom built machine put together with no os-taint
but well documented (linux-compatible) devices. Steve

I would agree, Sony are not a nice company to deal with IMHO, and given so much choice
of product out there easy to avoid.
