I downloaded "debian-31r0a-amd64-binary-1.iso" which uses a 2.6.8-11-amd64 (if I'm not wrong). There is no linux26 boot option (only linux and expert). Did you actually installed on a SATA drive? PLEASE someone help me, I don't want to change distro!!! What kernel are you using? I also have a
