Apparently, the nice is not working on the cron/anacron invocation of
setiathome. The cron-run will eventually crash Kmail, even if no transfers of
files are taking place. Using the "tkseti" intervace to run it, nice does
seem to work. The little system monitor also indicates nice effective for
OK, I ran it from cron with this command line:
setiathome -nice 19 > /dev/null
(The second redirect was not accepted by webmin).
I had to shut it down when KMail started aborting when deleting (sending to
trash folder). This had happened before.
