I've got a new Intel Pentium 4 dual core server with sarge (3.1r1)
installed from the binary-1 CD. (It seems like the e1000 network module
in Debian is too old to support the network cards and I couldn't use the
netinst CD. There are two Intel 82573 gigabit controllers on the
motherboard.)

I've just installed latest sarge without any problems. By default, the kernel-image
used is
2.4.26-1-386. I would like to have a newer
kernel in my machine, so I tried to install
2.6.7-1-386 (provided with sarge). When I
try to run apt-get install on this package,

Hello fellas,
I upgraded my debian system kernel from 2.4 stable to 2.6 testing. But now my dialup
connection doesn't work anymore! I get to connect to my ISP, but i can't navigate.
Could someone help me, please?
