xfonts-base
xfonts-pex
xfonts-scalable
packages instal
I want to be able to start xdm from my user account, instead of from
root. I have tried changing permissions and ownership, but neither of
these works and have checked permissions in higher level directories to
which I have access, but nothing seems wrong. Any idea what is going on
here?

I've upgraded my bo system to hamm, and have had some problems.
Also, I have a clean new installed hamm system in another partition.
When a try to start xdm, I get a core dump and I can see in
/var/log/xdm-errors:
sh: '-c' requires an argument
I've removed, purged and re-installed xbase p
