Problem with key not repeating on X

Hi, I just upgraded to potato and have a small problem... The key I press isn't repeated as I keep depressing it. I have to lift and press again. I have the same problem irrespective of whether I run fvwm95 or afterstep. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. -Rajesh
