but thus far I've been unsuccessful. I have installed cups, and
gimp-print for the drivers. I used the browser, with port 631 via the
localhost, to set it up. However, it won't print anything. After

Hi guys,
Where can I find some docs on how to install a printer on Debian (woody)? I

I am having problems getting my printer to print. I am using lprng and
magicfilter.
The printer is an HP722c and I know from the How-To that is only
partially supported.
The trouble is that when I issue a lpr I get a message that
says the message couldn't be sent. I can't remember the exact syn
Hi Angel,
Thanks for your help on the printer. It turns out that lp1 was
the one to use, so I must have done something to the system. Anyhow, I
finally rebooted the system...that seemed to help...it works anyway. I
don't know...maybe it had something to do with the lpd.
Thanks,
Rob

It works great with Win95, but I am not able to print anything with Linux.
