I'm trying to install Debian on a Dell Inspiron 2600. I've got the latest BIOS and tried both woody and the sarge debian-installer, as well as used the oapic, aic7xxx=no_probe, and video=vga16:off options. No matter what I do, every time I get to the point where it says md driver 0.36.6 MAX_MD_DEV=4, MAX_REAL=8 and the computer hangs. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you. Michael
