I've got Debian on that machine. I used an external cd, which if I recall
correctly was /dev/sc0 or /dev/scsi0. It's at work, I'll check later,
and if it's different I'll get back
to you.

I am attempting to install 2.2r2 on a mac IIxv ('030) with a CD. I successfully
installed and booted with the base system using files that I put on the mac
